Tony Mowbray has made two changes to the side that defeated St Johnstone 3-0 at the weekend with Georgios Samaras and Ki Sung Yueng coming into the starting XI. Marc-Antoine Fortune and Marc Crosas drop to the bench whilst Lukasz Zaluska keeps his place in goals for his third consecutive match.

The teams run out and Celtic are in their bumblebee away strip.

St Mirren kick off and are shooting from left to right.

St Mirren take a free kick but Celtic clear it to safety and move the play into the home side's half.

St Mirren are ruled offside after some good pressure down the left flank.

A McGeady cross to Samaras on the far corner of the penalty box is too high for the Greek striker to meet and has to run to stop it going out for a throw in. Play eventually fizzles out for a St Mirren goal kick.

A low shot from Billy Mehmet from inside the penalty box was too weak to trouble Celtic as Lukasz Zaluska collects it with ease.

Celtic come close to opening the scoring after Samaras does well to control a Wilson cross. But his effort hits off the inside of the post and into Paul Gallacher's hands.

Robbie Keane wins Celtic a free kick 35 yards from goal but Ki's strike hits off the St Mirren wall and is cleared to safety.

A mistimed pass from Steven Thomson breaks a good spell for St Mirren as Craig Dargo fails to reach it in time. The ball goes out for a Celtic throw in.

McGeady does well to break through the St Mirren midfield and plays a low pass to Keane. Paul Gallacher makes a good save to stop the Irishman's shot on target.

Samaras unleashes a low shot straight at Gallacher but his effort was too weak to trouble the Buddies keeper.

St Mirren pile men into Celtic's half as Craig Dargo makes a good run down the left wing. No one is covering the far post, however, and his cross is hit away to safety.

The linesman raises his flag to rule Billy Mehmet offside.

Craig Dargo breaks away from the Celtic defence but Darren O'Dea puts in a good block to prevent the striker from unleashing a shot.

Dargo capitalises on a Josh Thompson mistake at the corner flag but Mehmet fails to make contact with his cross into the box. O'Dea clears the ball to safety.

Robbie Keane can't get onto the end of a long range pass and the ball is easily collected by Paul Gallacher.

A curling Samaras effort from the edge of the box forces Gallacher to dive low to catch.

HALF TIME: Celtic go into the break 1-0 down to the home side after an 38th minute Andy Dorman strike.

Celtic kick off the second half, from left to right, towards the away fans.

McGeady loses the ball to Hugh Murray on the half way line and his pass is met by Craig Dargo inside the box. But as the striker attempts to unleash a shot, Braafheid makes a good block and clears the ball out for a corner.

McGeady picks up a McGowan pass and crosses a good ball into the box, in front of the St Mirren defence. But the outstretched Keane can't reach the ball in time and it goes out for a goal kick.

McGeady wins Celtic a free kick 35 yards out. Edson Braafheid takes it low, but Gallacher crouches to catch it before Keane can make contact.

John Potter knocks a McGowan cross out for a Celtic corner.

Celtic make a substitution with Marc-Antoine Fortune coming on for Ki Sung Yueng.

Celtic continue to press but can't break through the St Mirren defence.

A Landry NGuemo chip from the edge of the box flies past Gallacher's left post and out for a goal kick without troubling the St Mirren keeper.

Samaras turns away from his marker and makes a good chip into Keane, but Gallacher wins the race to the ball, sliding it out for a throw in.

Celtic make another substitution with Edson Braafheid making way for Morten Rasmussen.

Celtic win a free kick in the middle of St Mirren's half after Mehmet drags down Robbie Keane, but Fortune can't get onto the end of the cross.

Mark Wilson crosses a perfectly timed ball into the box, but Keane's header goes wide of the post.

Dargo comes close to adding a 4th but his chip is caught by Zaluska.

St Mirren make a change with Mehmet coming off for Michael Higdon.

St Mirren make another change with goal hero Craig Dargo making way for Rory Loy.

St Mirren's final substitution of the night is made with Stephen O'Donnell coming on for Andy Dorman.
