The BibleCode Sundays are making a bid for the No.1 slot in time for St Patrick’s Day with their single ‘Maybe It‘s Because I‘m An Irish Londoner’.
The band are huge Celtic fans and are delighted to have performed at Celtic Park on a number of occasions.
Accordion player Andy Nolan (who is also President of the Hayes Bhoys CSC) said: “To play at Celtic Park was a dream come true and to top it off with a St Patrick’s Day chart No.1 would be amazing.
“As Celtic fans ourselves, we know how supportive the Celtic family are when it comes to their own, so we are hoping every Celtic fan will get behind our campaign.”
Lead singer Ronan MacManus (younger brother of Declan aka Elvis Costello) added: “People can buy the single on itunes and Amazon and it would be fantastic to be No.1 when we take the stage at our Paddy’s Day gig, ‘The Big St Patrick’s Day Shindig’ at the Shepherd’s Bush Empire next Wednesday, March 17.”
