exclusive: robbie keane on the huddle online

THE match ball will take pride of place in a trophy cabinet which includes the accolades of glittering career. When Robbie Keane left the field at Rugby Park last week, he did so with the ball held aloft, a memento first hat-trick of his Celtic career.
His next stop was the dressing room, where it was passed around his team-mates.
“The lads have signed it and put a message on it,” said Robbie in today’s exclusive interview on the Huddle Online (Friday, March 19).
“I’ve been lucky enough in my career to have scored a few hat-tricks, so it will take pride of place alongside them.
“Things like that I keep. It’s always nice to have those sort of things and if you didn’t have them, years down the line you would probably ask yourself, why didn’t I?”
Robbie also talks to The Huddle Online about some of the other mementos in his collection and gives his thoughts on his opening months at Celtic Park. He also speaks candidly about some the pressures that have followed his high-profile move to Glasgow.
“For me, I can only do what I am capable of doing and do what I do best,” he said, “and that’s to score goals and play well for the team.”
Also on tonight’s show, we have the second part of our classic interview with Paddy Bonner, with the Celtic and Ireland legend giving his thoughts on two of the club’s greatest league triumphs.
