We're back at Celtic Park for the return of the league campaign, as the Hoops host Aberdeen, looking to continue their winning streak that saw the team advance to the quarter-finals of the Scottish Cup last time out.

The matchday programme for the game is packed full of articles on the champions and the visitors, including an exclusive interview with winger Liel Abada.

The Israel internationalist sat down to talk all things football and life away from the pitch, opening up on how he's settling into life in Glasgow

Speaking exclusively to the programme, Abada said: "I think I feel more settled now because I know more about being in Glasgow and things I like to do.

"I know the football, all the staff and everyone better, so I feel at home here now - I’m really happy here.

“My English is better than last season. When I came to Glasgow, Nir Bitton helped me with the language and after that, I learned with a teacher.

"I tried to speak with the people as much as I could and get confidence with the language and not be shy also.

'I need to learn the language and I’m happy that I speak better now and I can speak with all the people and understand them and it’s really good for my football as well.'

“Sometimes it’s hard to be out because you play for this club, but you’re always getting support from the fans. It’s really lovely and I love their nice words and hopefully, we can give them more moments back. It’s really fun, the fans are always coming up and joking with me so I do love it.

“I feel different this year. When I came last year it was very difficult to be 19-years-old and leave my family, leave my country, leave everything behind.

“Now my girlfriend is here and there’s a lot of Israeli people in Glasgow that looked after me when I came.

“Nir told me about the Israeli community here but there’s also one Israeli guy in Glasgow that is part of my family.

"He’s not close family but it’s nice to have around. My family come over a lot and now my girlfriend is here as well, but my mother and father and sister come to Glasgow quite a lot so I am never alone in the city.

“I’m close and have a great relationship with my family, and they enjoy coming.

"At the start, it was the first time they experienced the cold weather as you get here but they enjoyed it and think it’s a nice city and the people are very nice. It’s quiet here and there’s no real rush."
