This weekend’s fixture is likely to offer up plenty of excitement, given that the winner will secure a place in the last four at Hampden Park next month.

Although Celtic have come away victorious this season on both occasions against this weekend’s opponents, the last time the two sides met, it was a closely contested match up.

On that afternoon in January, Jacynta had her part to play in the 2-1 win, scoring the opening goal of the game.

The 21-year-old is expecting to face another difficult challenge on Sunday, but the preparation and mind-set for each game remains the same.

“We go into every game with the same preparation and mind set,” she said. “We want to work hard, we’ve also been doing work on the tactics and stuff like that.

'It’s going to be a big game. We know it’s not going to be easy, but we are all looking forward to it.'

“I think it will be a similar test to last time, if not even harder. I think Hearts are going to be well up for it, just like we are.

“We know the quality that they have, and we are expecting them to go for it 100 per cent. So we will need to bring the same energy.”

This season’s Scottish Cup campaign has a slightly different feel for Fran Alonso’s side, as the defending holders of the trophy.

Jacynta played her part in helping the Hoops lift a domestic cup double, playing in both the Scottish Cup and SWPL Cup finals, and she believes that experience will help as they eye up more trophy success.

“Yeah, I think it will help. We have expectations from other people and for ourselves to make the cup final and maybe even win it.

“We aren’t thinking about that just yet though. We obviously want to win again, but we just need to take it one game at a time and think about the Hearts game first.”
