Celtic celebrated Trophy Day in style, beating Aberdeen 5-0 at a packed Paradise.

Kyogo and Oh scored two goals apiece, while Carl Starfelt also got on the scoresheet, before the party got started when Callum McGregor lifted the Scottish Premiership trophy.

And speaking to Celtic TV after the game, two of the title-winning Celts spoke of their delight at having delivered another title for the club.

Jota said: “I’m very pleased. Today was a day for our families, for the staff and for the fans, and we did it.

'There was a lot of quality, it was a beautiful day and today was all about celebrating with everyone.'

“We knew it was going to be a big day, it’s an important day for every Celtic fan so we were just motivated to do that and deliver, and we’re just happy that everything went our way. It’s so special.”

And Matt O’Riley, who has played in every one of Celtic’s 38 league games this season, added: “It’s amazing. It’s been good so far. There’s one more trophy to go. We’ll enjoy today but when we get that third one, hopefully, it’ll be a good feeling.

“We’ll enjoy today and tonight, but come Monday we’ll go again because there’s one more trophy to go, and we’re also back in the Champions League – that’s my favourite stage. We love playing there.

“We’re very grateful to the fans, and in terms of the connection we have with the fans here, it’s something that’s really special and I’m trying to take in this atmosphere because it’s really special.”
