Auston Trusty

American internationalist, Auston Trusty joined Celtic from Sheffield United on a five-year-deal on the final day of the 2024 summer trantransfer window.

The central defender began his career in the United States, playing for Philadelphia Union and Colorado Rapids in the MLS before joining Birmingham City on loan.

In 2023, he moved to Sheffield United where he made 32 Premier League appearances across the 2023/24 season.

Trusty has represented his country at the Under-17s and Under-20 FIFA World Cup and in 2023 he earned his first cap for the US national team in a 7-1 victory over Grenada.
