Rocco Vata
Vata signed his first professional contract with Celtic at the age of 16 in July 2021. He is the son of former Celtic defender and Albanian international Rudi Vata.
Despite being 17, the pacey midfielder who mostly plays down the wing became a known and exciting one to watch for the B team in the Lowland League.
Vata has been in the academy since seven-years-old and represents Ireland at youth level.
After an impressive few seasons as part of the B Team set up, Vata went on to make his first-team debut during the 2022/23 campaign, coming off the bench in a 4-0 win against Hibernian.
During that same season, he would go on to make a handful of appearances for the Hoops, including making his Paradise bow in April 2023.
Spending the majority of the opening half of the 2023/24 season with the young Hoops, the winger was a key contributor for Darren O'Dea and Stephen McManus' side as the team's top goal scorer.
His performances led to further appearances for the first-team, and in January of this year, the youngster grabbed his first senior goal for the club, scoring during the 5-0 victory over Buckie Thistle at Celtic Park.
