Dane Murray
The exciting young defender was first scouted by Celtic as a six-year-old and has steadily worked his way up through the ranks of the Academy.
Murray signed his first professional contract in June 2019 before receiving a new contract 6 months later. He signed his latest deal the club that will see him remain with Celtic until at least the summer of 2024.
The Hoops stopper has progressed quickly through the Celtic Academy after training with the first-team, was handed his debut in 2021. The defender played in both UEFA Champions League qualifying ties against FC Midtjylland.
Alongside regular minutes with the B Team, Murray continued to train with the first-team squad and was on the bench for the Hoops' Europa League group stage matches.
Following a promosing season, the centre-back was unfortunate to pick up a serious knee injury, which kept him out for an extended period of time.
Exactly one year after sustaining the knock against Dalbeattie Star, Murray marked his return from injury, coming off the bench during a 3-1 win over Rangers B at Ibrox.
