Liam Bonetig

Liam Bonetig joined the Celtic FC Academy in September 2023 after putting pen to paper on a three-year deal.

Starting his career in his homeland Australia, Bonetig was part of the Academy set up at Western Sydney Wanderers before making the move to Glasgow.

The youngster has also picked up valuable international experience, after he was part of the Australian School Boys football team which toured the UK and Ireland.

During that trip, Bonetig was named the Player of the Tour after a number of impressive performances whilst representing his country.

The centre-back has adjusted quickly to life in Glasgow, offering a solid option at the back whilst performing in competitions such as the UEFA Youth League, Premier League International Cup and Lowland League.
