Stephen McManus
Stephen McManus enjoyed a distinguished playing career in the green and white hoops which saw him go on to make 203 appearances for the team he’s always supported, become club captain and win three league titles, two Scottish Cups and two League Cups.
He left the club in 2010 and after spells at Middlesbrough and Bristol City, he ended his playing days at Motherwell where he played from 2013-17.
During his playing career, Stephen had already set the wheels in motion for what would happen once that drew to an end, beginning his coaching badges in his mid-20s.
And after retiring as a player, he started coaching at the Fir Park club, taking charge of the Motherwell u18s before going onto to be an important part of the first-team backroom staff under Stephen Robinson.
After four years in the coaching set-up at Motherwell, he returned to Paradise in January 2019, initially to work with the under-18s, before he moved up to assist Tommy McIntyre as reserve and latterly Celtic B-Team coach.
He joined the first-team coaching staff on temporary basis in February, 2021 before became permanent First-team Coach the 2021/22 season.

Stephen won 26 caps for Scotland, scoring 2 goals. He made his international debut coming on a sub against Ukraine in in October 2006.
