The young defender arrived in Glasgow, becoming Elena Sadiku’s second summer signing joining from the Academy of WSL club Everton.

Having worked with the Celtic Head Coach during her time on Merseyside, the 18-year-old was reunited with Sadiku at Paradise, adding reinforcements to the Hoops backline.

Alongside spending time as part of the Toffees Academy, the youngster also had a spell out on loan with FA Women’s National North side, Liverpool Feds, where she gained senior experience.

Richardson also brings more international experience to the squad, as a regular through the age groups with Wales.

Shortly after signing a three-year-deal with the club, the defender earned her first senior call up for her nation in July.
