Kelsey Daugherty joined the club in August 2023, signing a two-year deal after arriving from National Women’s Soccer League side, Racing Louisville FC.

The goalkeeper started her career in her homeland, coming through the college system with UAB Blazers.

After spending three years there, she soon moved on to Long Island Rough Riders, before taking her first jump into European football.

The 26-year-old completed a move to Danish Elitedivisionen side Fortuna Hjorring, where she lifted her first league title.

She also got her first taste of UEFA Women’s Champions League football, making four appearances for the club in the competition, including a last-16 tie against the most successful European side, Lyon.

Daugherty headed back to America during Covid, before returning to Scandinavia, this time moving to Sweden with Djurgardens, where the shot-stopper made 35 appearances and collected 12 clean sheets.

The American most recently turned out for Racing Louisville, before coming to Glasgow.

During her first season with the Hoops, the goalkeeper has showcased her importance between the sticks in big moments.
