Lisa Robertson

After a season in the top flight of English football, Lisa Robertson returned to Celtic FC Women for the 2022/23 season.

The Scotland international midfielder spent last season on loan at WSL side Birmingham City and despite suffering relegation, the former Glasgow City midfielder feels she improved as a player from her time down south.

Robertson started her career at Hibernian before having a spell in the United States, she then spent time at Glasgow City before returning to Hibs, then moving to Durham in England.

Joining Celtic FC Women in January 2020, she was part of the side that secured Champions League qualification for the start of last season before moving down to Birmingham.

Her time in England saw Robertson recalled to the Scotland squad and she believes the international experience will improve the experience she can pass on to other squad members.

In a decorated career, Robertson has won 3 Scottish Cups, 4 League Cups with Hibs and was part of the treble winning Glasgow City in 2013.
