Sydney Cummings
Sydney Cummings became the latest summer addition in September 2023 after signing a two-year deal with the Hoops.
Like several of her new teammates, the defender started her career playing in the US College system turning out for Brown Bears and Georgetown Hoyas.
In 2022, Cummings was drafted by NWSL side Racing Louisville before ultimately signing for San Diego Wave.
That same year, the centre-back was on the move heading to Australia to play for Western United, where she put in a number of impressive performances.
During her time in the A-League, Cummings played an integral role for the Club during their inaugural campaign, playing every minute of every match, scoring four goals along the way.
After her departure earlier this year, Cummings returned to the US, once again joining up with San Diego Wave as a National Team replacement player, before signing for the Celts.
The defender also boasts international experience, having made a number of appearances for the Guyana National side.
In January 2024, Cummings scored her first goal for the Celts in the Scottish Cup victory over Ayr United, before quickly grabbing her second just one game later versus Montrose.
